It was that time again where Brides and Grooms to-be from all over Southeast Queensland came together to celebrate, be inspired and win big at the Sunshine Coast Wedding Expo. With gorgeous interactive displays, activities on offer throughout the day and 70 of the BEST wedding suppliers all under one roof, it really was an event not to be missed!
As guests made their way up the grand stairs, with their tantalizing expo goodies in hand, they were instantly greeted with the sweet sounds of Love Note Music and jaw-dropping floral installations by our expo partner Ginger Lily & Rose. As visitors explored further, they quickly recognized some of the most award winning suppliers in Australia, including multi-award winners Maleny Manor and recent ABIA No.1 Evalyn Parsons Hair, just to name a few!
The ever-popular Man Cave was back again, providing a space for the men to catch their breath and get a fresh haircut from Logan’s Barber lounge. They were looking good for a cause, with all proceeds donated to charity. Oh and did we mention there was a Harley?...Yes a Harley Davidson! .
While the men where occupied in the man cave and kids were playing in the kids corner, it was time for the bride-to-be to relax, have a glass of bubbles, make a flower crown with the lovely Heavenly Blooms and get some inspiration for their magical day!
With interactive live models, it was a fashion show with a twist! Participating in styled shoots and hanging out with the guests, they wandered through the venue displaying the beautiful gowns from Elizabeth De Varga Exclusive Fashions , the dapper suiting from Black Jacket Suiting and gorgeous work from hair and makeup artists Rolling Scissors, Melina Dee and Erin Fedele.
Stepping outside, The Outdoor Village was better than ever! Chocked full with caravan bars and kombis and even Deluxe Kombi Services's latest edition to the family, the photo booth kombi was there! Amy Katrina brought her sweet sounds to provide visitors with the perfect atmosphere for exploring.
Before we could get to the main event, we also had a cheeky $500 to give away to the gorgeous Karah, the lucky winner of our Easter Promotion. But of course the highlight of the day and the moment that everyone was waiting for, was the $5000 major prize draw. CONGRATULATIONS to our lovely engaged couple Bek and Callum who were the lucky winners. We can’t wait to help you spend your prize with our top expo suppliers and be a part of your wedding planning journey.
